Call for Nominations – UConn KIDS (Kids in Developmental Science)

Call for Nominations

UConn KIDS (Kids in Developmental Science) is accepting nominations for a PhD graduate student representative to serve on the KIDS Steering Committee.  We are seeking nominations for the selection of 1-2 candidates and welcome nominations from the departments of Psychological Sciences, SLHS, Cognitive Science, Linguistics, Human Development and Family Studies, the Neag School of Education, and the School of Nursing. The selected graduate student(s) will serve as a voice and liaison for fellow graduate students across the UConn KIDS consortium, representing their needs and wishes at UConn KIDS Steering Committee meetings.  This is a unique position that will offer both a chance to gain professional experience as a member of a steering committee, and an opportunity to contribute to the growth and direction of the UConn KIDS program. Graduate student representatives will be appointed for a period of one year starting in December 2018; the departmental representation across the consortium will be rotated in subsequent years.

Please share your nomination with a curriculum vitae and a letter of intent to Dr. Letitia Naigles at by Wednesday October 17th, 2018. Self-nominations from graduate students are welcomed in additional to nominations from faculty members.

Upon review by the Steering Committee on Wednesday November 7, nominees will be notified of their status.
